As a fan of Dune: Awakening, I’m genuinely excited about Funcom’s recent reveal of their detailed roadmap, outlining the game’s future up to mid-2026. Despite the game’s stellar launch back in June, it hasn’t been without its challenges, especially with endgame grind and griefers exploiting the Deep Desert. But the new content and quality-of-life updates promise to breathe fresh life into this sandbox survival MMO.
One of the most anticipated updates is the Chapter 2 Free Update coming in September 2025, which continues the main story with new missions and rewards.
