    But it also doesn’t do enough to lurch into more nightmarish territory. So Fresh: Absolute Must See! To see what happens, at least that what he thinks at first.
    The main selling point with this film is Cranston; he gives the best performance by a mile and his multi-layered performance does make this film more tolerable than it otherwise would have been. The sexual dynamic of his marriage, the dissembling with which he won his wife over, and other related factors make him unable to let go of his attachment even as he lets all his responsibilities go to hell.
    Once again another great performance from Bryan Cranston. During these months, Howard observes his family continuing their lives without him and as time passes by his behaviour becomes increasingly erratic and he often wonders whether he can return back to his old life or indeed if he wants to.
    It’s hard not to compare it to the other mid-life crisis film this year, Brad’s Status. He was a progressive humanist, albeit an always tough-minded one. Voyeurism channeled through a character so bereft of decency and filled with 2017 a false sense of superiority only serves to leave the viewer feeling a little dirty.
